So, last Saturday I went out exploring with some friends and didn't come home till around one o'clock in the morning. As I was getting out of the car I tripped on a small step in my yard and fell to my knees. When I fell my camera bag (the sling style) swung forward and landed right next to me. At the time I couldn't think of anything else but the pain in both of my knees. Eventually I got up to stagger inside the house and put ice on my wounds. My camera was far from my mind since I was in a lot of pain.
Fast forward to a few days ago. My husband asked me if he could use my memory card, which I replied, "Sure." As I unzip my bag I saw in horror that my lens was off my camera. Now I had broken it back in May but it still functioned rather well, but it was tricky to use. But here it was, off the main body of my Nikon d90 and laying nearly next to it. Not good. I tried to put it back on, but it just popped off.

Closer inspection I saw that I had actually snapped the lens off the body of my camera. Terrified I checked for any damage to the mount on the body to see that there was none. But now I don't have a lens to shoot with.

Alphie is sad.
And on another note, the old theater that I took a picture of is long gone. The bulldozers came and pretty much knocked it down in one day. It was my first UE adventure and I was kind of sad to see it go. But at least I was able to explore it three times and got pictures of my trips.
